O foco está na compreensão global e específica, inferência lexical pelo contexto, identificação de marcadores discursivos e análise de estruturas gramaticais em situações reais de comunicação.

Compreender textos autênticos em inglês identificando ideia principal e detalhes específicos; inferir o significado de palavras desconhecidas pelo contexto; reconhecer e empregar marcadores discursivos (linking words); analisar estruturas como reported speech, passive voice e conditional sentences; expandir vocabulário temático.

Conteúdo abordado

Estratégias de leitura (skimming, scanning, inferência lexical); gêneros textuais: notícia, anúncio, resenha, narrativa; marcadores discursivos (however, therefore, moreover, although); reported speech; passive voice (present and past); first and second conditionals; false cognates; phrasal verbs comuns; vocabulário temático (technology, environment, social issues).

Como ensinar

Utilize o método de leitura em três etapas: pré-leitura (antecipação), leitura (estratégias específicas) e pós-leitura (análise e produção). Trabalhe com textos autênticos adaptados de sites de notícias e redes sociais. Crie exercícios de substituição lexical e paráfrase. Use jogos de vocabulário e quiz interativos para consolidação.

⚠️ Maiores dificuldades

Falsa sensação de compreensão com cognatos enganosos; dificuldade com linking words que invertem a expectativa (although, however); confusão entre reported speech e direct speech. Estratégias: criar listas de false cognates com exemplos, praticar marcadores discursivos em lacunas de texto e usar tirinhas e diálogos para reported speech.
